Rice Pilaf

¾ cup
1 T
1 T
1½ cups
3 cups
1 t
small noodles such as orzo
butter
olive oil
long grain rice such as basmati
chicken broth
salt (check with chicken broth)

  • Saute pasta in butter and oil until golden
  • Add rice and fry 1 minute
  • Add stock and simmer covered about 18 minutes
  • Yield 6
